How we work
Beaconshocliphoppr compares smartphones using manufacturer specifications, published independent lab measurements and our own hands-on notes. We label which kind of evidence supports each claim.
Every phone is scored on camera, battery and charging, display, update support and build. The weights are published on the home page and are editorial rather than scientific.
Independence
We do not let manufacturers review copy before publication and we do not sell placement. If a spec changes or we make a mistake, we correct the page and note the date.
Limits
Specifications vary by region and revision. Treat our figures as a starting point and confirm them with the retailer before buying. We are a small team, and we cannot test every model.
